Embedding image in custom dialog

I'd like to embed some line art into a custom dialog to show the user what different parameters correspond to on a print. Is this possible? If so, what command would I use. I've tried LoadPicture but that didn't seem to work (but it didn't throw an error either). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Save and load dialog inputs via Excel

First let me apologize if I am posting this in the wrong location. I have been working on a custom dialog that allows the operator to either key in parameters from a drawing, load previously entered values and/or save values. Overall the code is operational but I have two minor issues that I'd like ...

Re: Running programs on different CMMs

Ok thank you. I'm glad to hear that this shouldn't be a major headache.

Running programs on different CMMs

We are looking at purchasing an additional CMM and I have two questions that I’m hoping someone can help shed some light on. Currently we have a Mitutoyo Bright-A707 with a PH10M probe head. How identical would an additional CMM need to be in terms of specifications to use our existing programs with...

Re: Custom VB Dialog with Textbox and Dropdown

Update: I figured it out. This section of code: 'Declare variables to get the listbox selection Size = 0 Clocking = 0 Front_Outer_Dia = 0 Flange_Width = 0 Flange_Dia = 0 Flange_Z = 0 Hole_Spacing = 0 Hole_Dia = 0 Rear_Ins_Dia_1 = 0 Rear_Ins_Dia_1_Z = 0 Rear_Ins_Dia_2 = 0 Rear_Ins_Dia_2_Z = 0 Needed ...

Re: Custom VB Dialog with Textbox and Dropdown

I'm using the example code as a guide for making a dialog for entering nominal dimensions off of a print into a textbox except it keeps rounding decimals to the nearest whole number. How would I go about modifying the code to treat decimals as decimals? Thank You Dim MyList (9) 'Initialize a static ...

Re: Skipping Features

Thank you! It hadn't occurred to me that conditional statements don't need to be fully contained within a particular instance of the "Add VB Script" operation. This just opened up a lot of possibilities for what can be done in terms of programming.

Skipping Features

Is it possible to do this? I've seen it referenced in other threads but it's never explicitly spelled out how to do it. We have a program that measures an internal keyway as part of the inspection. The problem is that quite often the part is submitted with this keyway machined too shallow for the pr...

Re: Call VB Script

Using the above information I can get CMM-M to start an external script, however it isn't reading the variables data generated by the script. When the CMM program gets to an operation that uses one of the variables it gives an error that the variable is undefined. I previously had the script in ques...

Re: Determine if circle collected is an outer or inner

I don't know the exact nature of your program and I'm still pretty new to VB scripting but my first thought would be to have the code look at the directional vectors. If you imagine a 4 point circle and go around clockwise starting at 12 o'clock the IJK vectors will all flip between positive and neg...
