Re: Release note for 3.9 SP2

The release notes are up to date, like N8 said. There is no "What's New 3.9 SP2". Maybe that's where the confusion came from.

Re: GetReportInfo

It has to have the degree symbol. You can't just use "A".
Use ,2 for Actual and ,3 for Deviation.

GetReportInfo( "YourFeatureHere", "A(°)", 3 )

Groove depth/width using a disc probe

Has anyone used a disc probe to measure the width of a groove? Here's a cross-section of a port that I need to check Capture.PNG I can check the diameters just fine, but Manager treats my 10mm disc as a sphere and doesn't like to use the "top" and "bottom" of the disc for length measurements. I unde...

best fit alignment help

I need to plane on the blue face, origin on the yellow diameter, and best fit rotation on the six red diameters. Capture.PNG As you can see, my CAD ref frame is way off to the right, so if I try a cloud-to-cad alignment for the rotation, my model jumps to make the frames line-up. What's the best met...

Re: Black lines on imported CAD

I took the model and gave it to my CAD guy. He exported from Creo to IGS and Creo formats. The Creo one only had a couple black lines. The IGS one was perfect.

I suppose I'll have to have customer-supplied models filtered through Creo to clean them up for my use.

Thanks,
Paul

Black lines on imported CAD

Does anyone know if there is a setting I can change that will help get rid of these black lines in my diameters?
Capture.PNG
It doesn't affect the program at all, it's just ugly and distracting.

I get these lines in .IGS .STEP and Pro/E models.

Thanks,
Paul

Re: Absolute coord. deviation bug

I don't have the ability to upgrade to 3.5 right now. I made a quick program to demonstrate the issue.

It only appears to happen when nominal is negative.

Here's the program:
cloud_report_test.zip
If someone with 3.5 could test this, I would appreciate it.

Re: Profile is reporting "T"???

Was this random "T' reporting in clouds resolved? When "T" isn't selected, the regular report looks fine, but we you look at the .rpt file, it's there. (It also happens to the .dp .dpp and .biw reports) Capture.PNG Workarounds include deleting and re-creating the line or restarting Manager. It's ver...

Re: Absolute coord. deviation bug

I found another issue using the absolute coord checkboxes. The plane reports correctly, the cloud-to-cad "Dev" is backward. Act Nom Dev UpTol LoTol OutTol ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #108 50-depth X -49.971 -50.000 -0.029 0.300 -0.300 ---*|++++...
