Re: timer to go offline(disconnect)?

I would highly recommend that you try to get away from multiple users logging in to the PC. There are many functions that CMM Manager has to store properly when the software is shutdown. If you are opening multiple sessions from different user accounts or forcibly closing the active session so you c...

Re: 3DConnexion Support

Any chance this got looked at again. I am programming a lot of parts and love the 3D Connection wheels, but cannot seem to map any of the wheel controls with the current drivers, just the buttons.

Re: UCC Server and CMM Manager

One other possible condition goes back to the commissioning of the PH20. If your service provider ran this function through UCC Assist and did not correct the styli length to be exactly 12.15 it will throw the system off. The reference tip for the PH20 is a 4x12.15 and we have seen people forget to ...

Re: Issues using TP

By default CMM Manager does not apply tip compensation to single point measurements. You will need to check the box for tip compensation when you are measuring a point, and you can change that default settings for a point so you don't have to keep doing this.

Re: Complete reference frame error

The default setting in CMM Manager is to show the warning if you do not have a complete alignment (Level, alignment, and origins). It is meant to prevent unexpected crashes if the something changes from part to part because it is not properly aligned. In the Preferences / General / Program Running /...

You can also extract the points from both cylinders into clouds and then best fit a cylinder from both clouds to form a single cylinder.

Re: Back off distance

I Agree it is not working like I would expect it in 3.4...it does act like the backoff moves to ball center. I have a .7mm probe in a small groove and anything less than .350 for a backoff leaves the probe engaged with the surface...this is on a single point measurement and not a diameter or line ho...
