Re: Offline license

Do you mean running another instance of CMM-Manager (off-line) on the same PC running CMM-Manager with your CMM? If so, I'm not sure that's possible. Usually off-line seats are setup on separate computers in my experience.

Re: Shortcut Keys Active when they shouldn't be?

I just tested this in the same manner as you described and was able to reproduce this behavior in version 3.5 SP1. It doesn't appear to affect all dialog boxes though because I was able to name it "Cbore" without issue when I double click on that feature in the "Program" tab and change the name unde...

Re: Tip Calibration Result Report

What kind of probe are you using and what is your tip build up? For example, my reference tip assembly has a TP20 standard force with a 3x20mm ruby stylus. I ask because if your build up is too long or heavy, that can contribute significant error to your measurements.

Re: Tip Calibration Result Report

The software defaults to the nominal tip diameter when new tips are created and it stays that way until you do the calibration. It's rare in my experience that tip diameters will be right on nominal so there typically isn't an issue if your reading differs and I don't see anything wrong with your re...

Re: Function Command String

I think this is it, the MLB Manual. Looking into this, I found the following note: "Function Library - FLB The Function Library has been renamed to the Measurement Library (MLB) for the DirectInspectâ„¢ and MeasureMax+ products. It is library of special functions, commands and variables to help you me...

Re: 3D CAD Alignment Question

Josh, Realigning after a level command is a good practice and one I often employ. It is not the cause of this issue though. What you need is a new "Sync CAD" command (under the "Import/Export" tab in CMM-Manager) after this reference frame update and that will lock the CAD model back into step with ...

Re: Shop Floor Launcher Screen

Josh, There is a way to minimize: press the Windows key and the D key on your keyboard at the same time to jump to the desktop. This will allow you to switch to QC-Calc to check it without adding a second monitor. It does not appear that you can resize the Shop Floor screen though so in the long run...

Re: Microsoft Ending WinXP Support

Hello Joe, I've done some initial testing on Windows 10 Pro x64 using the virtual CMM. It works much as it does on Windows 8/8.1 and I haven't had any crashes or bugs yet. I plan on testing it with one of our Sheffield CMMs here within the next week or so. In general, my experience with Windows 10 h...

Re: Difference between feature

Okay, so we can modify the code a bit to give you a signed answer. diaDifference = 0 dia1 = GetReportInfo("CIRCLE1", "DIA", 2) dia2 = GetReportInfo("CIRCLE2", "DIA", 2) If dia1 > dia2 Then diaDifference = dia1 - dia2 Else diaDifference = dia2 - dia1 End If Then use the user defined report to pull th...
