Re: Hit patterns for flat clouds and planes

I'm going to make a couple of assumptions here since you haven't specifically said so. * You are running CMM-Manager 3.9 SP2 * You are using CAD If you select either Features > 3D (orange) or Features > Cloud (orange cloud) and select the surface, by default you get a point set of 3 x 2 (6 points) a...

Re: updating software

Just in case (although rare) I normally export a helpdesk file. Other than that, I would suggest: Log in (at least for the install) as a local admin. Even if you have to get IT involved. Turn off firewall temporarily Turn of any AntiVirus temporarily When prompted, YES. Import from the previous vers...

Re: User defined dimension

jswope. Indeed, your "in tolerance" based on your single sided tolerance definition is 2.480 > 2.500. And you are at 2.500. Just on the edge of going out of tolerance (on the G1 Go) plus. As Chuck noted, if your number was 2.5000000001 you would be out of tolerance. The graph always shows your resul...

Re: How to add new user without admin rights

Actually, it's not a Windows forum either. This is strictly a CMM-Manager forum. Any references to Mitutoyo have to do with using CMM-Manager as a retrofit software on a Mitutoyo CMM. We can help you with that!

Re: Report for a point

Hopefully this helps explain what this does? Generally used for manual machines where your targeting is not necessarily spectacular, but does indeed have other uses. NOTICE *HOW* IT IS PROJECTED. That is critical to getting results you are looking for.

Re: 4.0

Jeff - interesting suggestion.
Mike - I think you explained it will enough. Do you want it to REPLACE the existing text, MODIFY (add to) the existing text, or be like an embedded note?

Re: 4.0

What Tking said...

However - I'm with Nate. A solid example would be useful here. I'm *guessing* that you indeed want something like Dist CIR17-Datum-B. If that is the case, just rename the feature in the program database so that Circle3 (whatever) gets renamed Datum-B. Names are arbitrary.

Re: Reference Standard for Dimensional Control

Simple artifacts such as - ball bar, step gauge, gauge blocks, and ring gauges. Nobody has created an "official" standard for how many points or placement of points. It depends on your use case and needs. The technical answer? Based on your requirements for tolerance and the various tolerances of th...

Re: Setup UCCserver Client Tool Environment

Is your ClientToolEnvironment missing? You only import the .tzp if the environment is missing. If it is already there, like in the picture, you do not import the file.
