PICKING CAD POINTS THAT ARE NOT THE DEFAULT COLOR

Post by Cy Goughman » Mon Mar 11, 2019 6:58 pm

A while back, I had a job that required use of the CAD Teach Pilot Hole command. Since I had holes of different diameters represented on the model as points, I tried making some of them a different color than the default as a mnemonic. I discovered that the points that weren't the default "DKCYAN" with the default box checked, were not pick-able. They did become pick-able when I changed the color back. This was unexpected. Can it be changed?

How are you changing the color of these points? From CMM-Manager or from CAD system where model was exported? I presume this is done in CMM-Manager using the CAD Editor. I just did some testing by changing colors in CDA Editor as shown below and I am able to create measured Circles no matter the color of CAD Point. I am however having some troubles creating Circles on surfaces that at vertical... I'll investigate.
