RPS POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

Post by smudge611 » Wed Dec 04, 2019 7:49 am

Setting up a program for a Rear Combination Light fixture. During a RPS Alignment I get the Possible Solutions dialogue.
How am I supposed to know which is the correct one to choose?
If you look at the screenshot
Sphere 2 is origin
sphere 3 is rotation and
sphere 1 is align

I get confused when the cad coordinate system is way out in space.

You might be happier if you move your cad coordinate system to the cad model before you start doing this alignment.

That said...from your description, I would expect this to be the solution:

X Y Z
SPHERE 1 O O X
SPHERE 2 X X X
SPHERE 3 O X X

Good luck!
