Nate,
This would work but I do not want to create new code for every pin that we measure. It would be nice to just have a note button added to the form when you run the program the same as when you create it.

Why not just set the "Dimension Name" to something more descriptive? This will show up in printed report and should make the report more informative too.

The only time we would use the note is when the gauge is missing or a problem with that gauge. When we do the annual calibrations a year later sometimes some of the hand gauges are missing.

I understand now... Sorry I think I missed what you meant before. Have a look at this post - https://www.cmmmanager.com/forum/viewto ... f=31&t=642 - tell me if this is similar to what you need. If so, maybe we can make some changes in CMM-Manager to just bake this functionality into the software directly.

The other thing I would like to see is the ability to change report tolerance on dimensions on multiple like features at the same time. I know you can recreate them but I usually have notes in the reported features and I then have to go back and put the notes back in each feature. This is time consuming when you have 20 - 30 features you have to go back and add the notes to.

This is already possible starting in 3.7 - see the Define Default Tolerance button in Report Ribbon Tab, noticing the Apply to Selected Operations button. Just highlight report operations in Program Database and open Define Default Tolerance dialog to apply new tolerance(s)

Sorry I missed this. It works on Features but not on Clouds. Do you plane on adding this to Clouds also? Thanks Nate!

Looks like Cloud to Cloud, Cloud to CAD, & Cloud to Curve are all supported...
